DIRECTOR'S NOTE - Classroom Placement and Building Update
Dr. Nathalie Hunt NEW AND RISING SCHOLAR PLACEMENT
On July 15, 2016, all lead teachers will place CMCS note cards in the mail addressed to rising 1st years and rising 3rd years to inform you and your child of their classroom assignment for the start of the 2016-2017 school year. 

BUILDING UPDATE
We will open the 2016-2017 school year in our existing space at Waccamaw Middle School.  Our building is expected to be complete between late September and late November.  This means that our school start time will remain to be 8:30 a.m. and our end time will be 3:30 p.m. until we move into our new building.  When we move our time will shift forward 30 minutes for a 8 a.m. start time and 3 p.m. dismissal time.

August Registration for All 2016-2017 CMCS Students
August 3rd and 4th
Wednesday and Thursday
10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
at CMCS

All families, including rising first graders, must stop in during registration and provide current documents showing proof of residency. Proof of residency MUST INCLUDE:
  1. a recent power bill
  2. two other documents bearing the same address (another utility bill, drivers license, pay stub, car registration, etc.)
Please bring your checkbook as all accounts must be paid in full prior to registration. These may include outstanding lunch balances, lost library books, and your CMCS account overdue invoices.
CMCS Yearbooks
Order forms have gone home for yearbooks.  The books will be available for pick up during 2016-2017 registration in August.
CMCS Library Closed
Books should have already been returned to the library as it closed on May 20th.  Fees will be charged for outstanding books.
