  You need to know about respiratory syncytial virus Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a contagious viral disease that can lead to serious health problems-especially for young children and older adults. There is no vaccine to prevent RSV. However, there are simple ways you can protect your child or yourself from getting sick during RSV season.

It's Never Too Late To Resolve To Volunteer

It's not too late to make a new year's resolution to volunteer. Opportunities abound in Wilmington and surrounding communities and there are several current openings at Clinton Memorial Hospital, the anchor healthcare facility for CMH Regional Health System.


CMH Volunteer Services manager Carol Sebert has openings for volunteer patient transporters, distribution and purchasing assistants and recovery room aides. She is also looking for clerks to work in the CMH Pharmacy and Gift Shop and for those with a reference background who would want to volunteer in the CMH Health Library.
