KYRA BATARA CONSIGUE LA VICTORIA TRAS DOMINIO DE TRES ASALTOS



TS-1 PROMOTIONS PRESENTS: COMBATE 19 (QUEEN WARRIORS) es historia, el Freeman Coliseum de San Antonio, Texas, vivió una noche repleta de diez explosivos combates de las mejores artes marciales mixtas (MMA).

El evento de artes marciales mixtas, encabezado por el esperado duelo del peso átomo femenino entre las rivales Kyra "Mogwai" Batara y Paulina "Firefox" Granados, fue televisado por Telemundo.

En la cartelera preliminar, el guerrero argentino Federico Olivera estableció una marca en Combate Américas, al finalizar a David Miramontes vía KO (Puño) a los 0:10 del primer asalto, la finalización de Olivera es ahora la más rápida en la historia de la promoción, superando así a Edgar Chairez, quien sometió a Erick Villaluz en 15 segundos con una palanca de brazo en Combate 15, celebrado en junio.

La acción co-estelar tuvo al noqueador y surgente estrella Andrés "The Bullet" Quintana de Albuquerque, N.M., quien sometió (mataleón) al probado Rey "The Warrior" Trujillo de Houston, Texas.

Para el pleito estelar, el duelo femenino entre las rivales del peso átomo femenino (105 libras) Kyra "Mogwai" Batara de Las Vegas, Nevada y Paulina "Firefox" Granados de Corpus Christi, Texas, se fue a las tarjetas, mismas que le dieron el triunfo a batara por decisión unánime (30-27, 30-27, 30-26).

Ya victoriosa, Batara representará a los Estados Unidos ante la peligrosa finalizadora mexicana Lisbeth "Coneja" López Silva (5-3) en un duelo Pan-Regional, pautado para inicios del 2018.

KYRA BATARA EARNS THE VICTORY AFTER THREE ROUND DOMINATION



 
TS-1 PROMOTIONS PRESENTS: COMBATE 19 (QUEEN WARRIORS) is history. The Freeman Coliseum of San Antonio, Texas lived a night packed with ten explosive battles of the best mixed martial arts (MMA) action.

The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) extravaganza, headlined by the much-anticipated women's atomweight (105 pounds) showdown between rivals Kyra "Mogwai" Batara and Paulina "Firefox" Granados, was broadcasted live on Telemundo.

In the undercard, Argentinian warrior Federico Olivera set a record in Combate Americas, by finishing David Miramontes via KO (punch) at the very first 10 seconds of the fight. Olivera's finish is now the fastest ever under de Combate banner, surpassing Edgar Chairez's mark, who submitted (armbar) Erick Villaluz in 15 seconds last june in Combate 15.

The co-headliner had the hard-hitting, fast-rising star Andres "The Bullet" Quintana of Albuquerque, N.M, submitting (rear-naked choke) battle-tested Rey "The Warrior" Trujillo of Houston, Texas.

For the main event, women's showdown between fierce atomweight (105 pounds) rivals Kyra "Mogwai" Batara from Las Vegas, Nevada and Paulina "Firefox" Granados from Corpus Christi, Texas, went to the scorecards, which gave Batara the victory via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-26).

Now victorious, Batara will represent the U.S. against ferocious Mexican finisher Lisbeth "Coneja" Lopez Silva (5-3) in a Pan-Regional match, scheduled for early 2018.
