Alan Jones won the 1980 Formula One World Championship and Williams their first F1 Constructors Championship with the Ford Cosworth powered FW07B. 

Jones scored 5 Grand Prix victories in 1980 - including the Canadian GP at Montreal and the United States Grand Prix at Watkins Glen. Jones also scored a victory in the non-Championship Spanish GP and t eammate Carlos Reutemann added to the Saudia Team Williams success with a victory in the wet 1980 Monaco Grand Prix.
