Jing is a free software from TechSmith (the makers of SnagIt and Camtasia).  Jing allows you to quickly and easily share edited screen shots like the one above of the IN topFORM website.  The software also allows you to record short videos (5 minutes max) of your screen. While these videos can't be edited, these videos may be a good way to quickly give feedback to students, provide quick instructions about assignments, or give directions about accessing material in D2L.  

Students could also use Jing to practice oral presentations and communicate with instructors.
