Changes Are Coming

New Alliance FCU will be converting to a new, upgraded computer system on August 1, 2017. With this upgrade you will enjoy improved security, user-friendly statements and other features. To prepare for the changeover, all branches will be closed on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. As a convenience to our members, we will stay open later on July 31. Online and mobile banking will also be limited during this time period. Debit cards will be available on a limited basis. Watch your mail, our web site and Facebook page for updates.
VISA Debit Card Replaces Mac/Star Card
For the past couple months, we have been in the process of converting to VISA Debit Cards. As a result, all Mac/Star cards will be closed by the first week of July. The new VISA Debit cards are more universally accepted and offer higher limits. If you have not received your new VISA Debit card, please contact Janet Bosh at our Ambridge branch office at (724) 266-7675 ext. 328. Learn more about our VISA Debit card.
Why Using Your PIN Is Important

Using your PIN (Personal Identification Number) helps protect you from fraudulent activity. Be sure to use your PIN number when using your VISA Debit card for the highest level of identity protection. Please note that a PIN number is required when making purchases from all big box stores.

Staff Updates
We have some new faces behind the teller line in our Ambridge branch office this summer.  Kayla Kuhni is from Ambridge and attends Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Finance with a minor in Accounting and will graduate in December, 2017.  Payton Dizak attends Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is from Economy. She is majoring in Business Management with a minor in economics. She will graduate in December, 2017. Both Kayla and Payton hope to gain valuable real world financial experience as they help our members and learn about credit union careers.

Nicole Toney has been moved from behind the teller desk to the lobby of our Ambridge office as a Member Services Representative. If she looks familiar, it's because she has served as a teller in our West Aliquippa, Center and Ambridge branch offices for the past year. Nicole is available to open new accounts, answer questions, and direct members to the appropriate staff for assistance with loans, VISA questions, stop payments, etc.

Online Bill Pay Takes the Hassle Out of Paying Bills
Paying bills may be a necessary part of life, but paying them online can make the process a little easier. With online bill pay you never have to waste money on postage or worry about the postal service delivering your payment on time. New Alliance FCU offers online bill pay as a free service to members enrolled in our virtual branch and mobile banking programs. Beginning January 31, 2018, members enrolled in online bill pay who do not use the service to pay a bill at least once per month will be charged a service fee of $6 per month. How do you avoid this fee? Simply log into online bill pay and use it to pay a bill of any amount each month. For questions about the virtual branch and online bill pay, contact Nancy Sigmund at (724) 266-7675 ext. 327. Download this form to sign up for Virtual Branch (online banking).

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action).

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
