This workshop will address cultural awareness and its impact on the therapeutic experience by mental health professionals. Through group interaction and experiential creative activities, attendees will develop effective communication skills when working with clients from diverse cultural groups. Attendees will utilize art, sand, and play therapy to increase awareness of how assumptions, values, beliefs, and stereotypes impact treatment sessions. Enhance your knowledge using these creative therapies for more culturally sensitive interventions, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
