BOBBY BRITNELL
Textile Artist and Tutor

Well my first job is to write and apologise to all of you that came to visit me at my Stand at the Knitting and Stitching Show, Harrogate and could not find me. The truth is I was tucked up in bed at my B and B, with a nasty sickness virus. I was so very disappointed to have missed seeing so many of you. As I am sure you will know it takes a great deal of time and effort getting ready for these shows, so all exhibitors want is to be there to speak to the people and share their work. Anyway it was what it was and I hope  you enjoyed the overall show and in particularly our display!!! Our s pecial thanks to Sheelagh and Roslyn for holding the fort on Friday.

Jose Hendo and I would like to thank you all for visiting our Stand and we hope it left you feeling uplifted and inspired and maybe you even learnt something on the way. Thanks also to all the staff at the Knitting and Stitching Show who helped make the experience so worthwhile for us both.

THANK YOU
BOBBY BRITNELL

I have already written with new courses for 2018, so this is just an update on how numbers are goings. Some courses are already full with waiting lists started, others still have places. Many of our favourite tutors are returning once again and will be offering new high quality courses, plus I will have one new tutor coming over from Turkey to teach an exciting two day painting course. Courses will be for two, three or four days.

I will be continuing with my two drawing and painting workshops, both of which welcome in new students when places become available and any level of experience is welcomed. Ruth Issett is also continuing with 'Crazy for Colour' and 'Colour Investigations'. Crazy for Colour is one day a month and Colour Investigation runs for 2 days every 6 weeks approximately.

What all the tutors have in common are great teaching skills and a generosity of spirit. So do sit back with a cup of tea or something stronger and make your choice from the many exciting courses on offer and remember that everything that happens at Moor Hall is through word of mouth, so do pass on the word.

If you do not know this part of the country, South Shropshire is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Moor Hall Farmhouse is a 450 year old farmhouse of great historical interest. It is also the second hunting lodge from Clun Castle. The studio is light and well equipped, with facilities for making refreshments and gardens for exploring. The surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling, drawing and photography.

You can book directly ON-LINE, if a space is available, for these courses. Please contact me DIRECTLY to go onto the waiting lists.
