CPSC releases nursery product report
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has released a new report regarding emergency department-treated injuries and deaths associated with nursery products. The report finds that high chairs, cribs/mattresses, strollers/carriages, and infant carriers were associated with 70% of the total estimated injuries.

TEST students present designs
In December, engineering students from Northwestern University and the University of Michigan presented their innovative design solutions to common hazards associated with children's products, including baby swings and carriers.

KID 2017: Year in review
KID has achieved and exceeded our goals for 2017. These included expanding resources on safe sleep environments, advocating for stronger furniture stability standards, and improving KID's accessibility to vulnerable families. We traveled far and wide, both domestically and internationally, to spread important information about safety. WE are also proud to introduce our new look We are so excited to continue our work in 2018, our 20th anniversary year.
