CREATE-TSA SUMMER SYMPOSIUM
CREATE and the Transportation Security Administration will come together for a two-day summer symposium to better align research efforts towards solving anticipated transportation security challenges in aviation over the next decade.  Read more.

CREATE director Dr. Ali Abbas presented the Professional Education Course: Foundations of Decision Analysis for Homeland Security at DHS Training Center in Washington D.C.

CREATE Study Examines
Terrorist Recruitment of Somali-Americans

 

A new report by CREATE researchers has exposed the collaboration between ISIS and the al Qaeda affiliate al Shabaab in recruiting Somali-Americans.

The report was published shortly after the recent arrest of six Somali-American men who planned to travel to Syria to fight with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).


Dr. Adam Rose Appointed to EPA Scientific Advisory Board Panel.
Congratulations to Professor Adam Rose for being appointed to  the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Science Advisory Board (SAB) Economy-Wide Modeling Panel.
