CREWNY Announces 40th Anniversary Gala Emcee and Honorees
Collete English Dixon was Summer Series
"Leading Ladies of Real Estate" Third & Final Speaker
Concluding CREWNY's Summer Series,"Leading Ladies of Real Estate", in early August was Collete English Dixon, shown above (left) with CREWNY President Jaimee Nardiello, Zetlin & De Chiara. Collete is Executive Director, Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, Roosevelt University, and has more than 30 years experience in investment management with a focus on commercial real estate investing.

Prior to her current role at Roosevelt University, she was Executive Director - Transactions for PGIM Real Estate (formerly known as PREI), a business unit of Prudential Financial, and co-leader of PREI’s national investment dispositions program.

She is a Past President of CREW Network, a Past Chair of the CREW Network Foundation, a Past President of CREW Chicago, a full member of ULI and the 2016-2019 Chair of the UDMU Council/Purple among other industry and community affiliations.

The Summer Series was held at the New York offices of Akerman which wholly sponsored and hosted the three events.
Legacy Leaders Evening Event Featured Author Joann S. Lublin
CREWNY’s Legacy Leaders Committee held an outstanding evening of cocktails, networking and learning about women who broke the glass ceiling. The event featured Joann S. Lublin, author of Earning it: Hard-Won Lessons from Trailblazing Women at the Top of the Business World.

Lublin is the recently retired management news editor of The Wall Street Journal and still writes its Your Executive Career column. Her book chronicles the major milestones and dilemmas of the work world unique to women.

Smooth Sailing and Networking in July
On a sultry evening in late July, CREWNY members, friends and colleagues boarded the Yacht Manhattan for an evening, two-hour AIA architectural tour of Manhattan.
