Notes from CREWNY's 2017 CREW Network Convention
Scholarship Recipients, Soudeh Ahmadian and Sarah Marsh
At the 2017 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace in Houston, Texas, attendees expanded their network, were inspired, and heard the latest on what’s happening in commercial real estate. In addition to a strong lineup of sessions, speakers and learning excursions, the convention also served as a platform for 1,000+ commercial real estate professionals from all over the world to network. The theme of the 2017 Conference was “Disrupt” – as in, think out of the box, be different.
Soudeh Ahmadian and Sarah Marsh, the two recipients of CREWNY's convention scholarships in 2017, found the greatly informative and inspirational talks, plus an early morning jog or yoga class, much conversation and great company, made for a truly warm environment for networking and meeting many successful women in the commercial real estate industry. The organization of the conference into formal sessions and networking allowed attendees such as Soudeh and Sarah to grasp first hand practical knowledge in an interactive setting. They report they had a great experience as first-time attendees and are very much looking forward to the 2018 Convention in San Diego.
