Dear Colleague:
You are cordially invited to attend the 3rd Annual Combat Stress Intervention Program conference on Friday, September 23, 2011. This year's theme is Post Deployment Challenges:  Current and Emerging Issues.  You will have the opportunity to hear Major General Mark Graham, U.S. Army Forces Command Deputy Chief of Staff who will discuss combat stress and suicide in the Military and also give a personal perspective (invited, availability based on  contingency operations). Donald Meichenbaum, Ph.D., one of the ten most influential psychotherapists of the 20th century will discuss clinical interventions with military clients.  The afternoon speakers are all national experts in military behavioral research.  We hope to see you on Friday, September 23rd.

Continuing Education Credits 

Psychologists:  Cambria-Somerset Council for Education of Health Professionals, Inc. is a pproved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuind education for psychologists.  Cambria-Somerset Countil maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

 

Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Anesthetists:  Cambria-Somerset Council for Education of Helath Professionals, Inc. is accredited by the Pennsylvania Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

Cambria-Somerset Council for Education of Health Professionals designates this live activity for a maximum of (5) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.

 

Physicians should claim only credit commensurate with the extend of their participation in the educational activity.

 

Nurses and Others:  CE Hours:  This program has been approved for five (5) CE Hours by the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Cambria-Somerset Council for Education of Health Professionals, Inc.

 

Social Workers:  Five (5) credit hours of continuing education is provided through co-sponsorship of the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work, a PA-approved provider of social work continuing education.  These credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW renewal.

 

Counselors:  This program has been approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors.  NBCC Approval Number:
