On behalf of your Social Action committee, Marci Bracken and I are SO excited to let you know that we have rejuvenated Mitzvah Day which will offer many opportunities for you and your family to participate in Tikkun Olam, repairing our world.

This is the last Religious Sunday school class of the year. Classes will participate in Mitzvah Day with their teacher and parents.

There will be activities for all ages and interests and WE NEED YOU to join YOUR KIDS to make it a success! It will be on Sunday, May 7th, the last day of school and will end with a huge BBQ and LOTS of fun!

We'll let you know in mid-April what the activities will be and you can let us know which one/s you'd like to participate it. Below is a partial list of Mitzvah Day activities:

~ Children's Book Drive

~ A performance at Linden Ponds w/ our students making a craft or gift to leave w/ residents

~ Temple grounds cleanup and beautification w/ Renee Rudolph

~ Blood Drive (tentative)

Suggestions for other activities are welcome.

Many thanks, in advance, to you and your kids for helping our CSS family enjoy a fabulous Mitzvah Day!

With warm regards,

Jodi Tolman and Marci Bracken,
