New  View: Janet Turner Paintings & Scratchboards
Although mainly known as a printmaker, Jane Turner (1914-1988) also produced scratchboards and paintings, which serve as the focus of the exhibition. The Turner Museum is grateful to have these works that  were formerly in the Vernon and Marie Fish private collection. Free and open to the public. More information

Daniel Alarcón
Lost City Radio
Author Daniel Alarcón leads a discussion of Lost City Radio, his book which won the 2009 International Literature Prize and which the San Francisco Chronicle named Best Novel of the Year. A Visiting Scholar at the UC Berkeley Center for Latin American Studies, Alarcón has published a graphic novel, story collections, and pieces in McSweeney's
and Harper's, among others. This Humanities Center event is
co-sponsored by the Butte County Library, with support from the Cal Humanities "California Reads" program. Free and open to the public. More information
