Weather Advisory

Yes, there is rain in the forecast but we strongly encourage everyone to remember what this race is about. When you feel cold, wet, tired, and uncomfortable, look down at your shirt and remember the true sacrifice of the officers we are honoring. The race will be held rain or shine and we know our runners are tough enough to get through it!

Arrival Times

Please plan to arrive between 9:00-9:30 AM. Although the 5K begins at 10:00 AM, parking areas fill up quickly. Additionally, special announcements and a performance of our National Anthem by West Hartford Police Captain Kevin McCarthy will begin at approximately 9:45 AM.

Parking

Parking is available at the Wadsworth Mansion (421 Wadsworth Street, Middletown, CT). Parking is NOT allowed on grassy areas. Additionally, please avoid driving on the grass whenever possible. 

Once the parking lots at the Wadsworth Mansion are full, we will direct additional overflow parking to Snow School (299 Wadsworth Street, Middletown, CT). This parking lot is only about a quarter mile down the street ... what a great warm-up before your run!

T-Shirts

Just a friendly reminder that our moisture-wicking t-shirts are guaranteed free to pre-registered runners. If you did not pre-register, shirts will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Awards

Division awards and law enforcement team awards will be announced shortly after 11:00 AM in front of the Wadsworth Mansion.

After Party

Join us immediately after the race at Stubborn Beauty Brewing Company located at 180 Johnson Street, Middletown, CT for post race brews, food trucks, and wicked sweet raffle prizes up for grabs! Please have IDs ready. First beer is on us with your intact wrist band provided to you before you run. Fun fact: If you are still energized, the brewery is exactly one additional 5K from the Wadsworth Mansion... so two more 5Ks... because you parked... nevermind.

Results & Photos

Race results will be posted online within 24 hours of race completion at http://www.timingplusne.com/2017-results. If you provided your e-mail address when you registered online, your results will be e-mailed to you as well. Race photos will be posted to Facebook and our website in the weeks following the race. Please "Like" us on Facebook and check back frequently for event photos.
