  • Discuss emotional intelligence and how it can be enhanced;
  • Discuss strategies for having difficult conversations and handling difficult situations.
Frontline Supervisors: Moving Your Team from Conflict to Cooperation
A CT ROAD SCHOLAR PROGRAM ELECTIVE WORKSHOP
Disagreement, stress and conflict are present in any working environment. While not all conflict is bad, it can become destructive if left unattended. This class examines the nature of conflict on the job (with supervisors, staff or customers) and helps you resolve it by communicating with grace and ease.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for Crew Leaders, Frontline Supervisors and those responsible for the success of work teams. Foremen,  Highway Superintendents and Public Works Directors are also encourage to attend.
Course Instructor
Rockie Blunt is the President of Blunt Consulting Group, a Massachusetts firm that offers management training and consulting services to Public Works Departments and Departments of Transportation in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Rockie has built a reputation as a lively speaker who delivers informative seminars.
