Managing Your Right of Way: A Roundtable Discussion
A CT ROAD SCHOLAR PROGRAM ELECTIVE WORKSHOP
Safeguarding your right-of-way and managing the access and use of these facilities is one of the most important jobs of public works; while coordinating the associated requests and activities with limited staff and resources is one of the biggest challenges. This Roundtable will focus on h ow some Connecticut agencies have had success in effectively communicating and coordinating regulations, policies and procedures so that the process runs smoothly. Municipal and State transportation professionals will share their experiences, their processes and the tools they use to help them manage their programs.
 
Please come prepared to discuss how you manage your right-of-way; including the challenges you face and any success you have had in solving them.
Who Should Attend  
 
This program is designed for all municipal highway officials; particularly those that handle the encroachment and ROW permitting processes for their agencies. Town Engineers, Directors of Public Works, and Highway Superintendents are encourage to attend.
