Letter From the Executive Director

Dear Friends,

It has been a busy two weeks with the UN General Assembly, the Clinton Global Initiative, and other important activities taking place in NYC. What the international community focuses on after the MDG deadline featured prominently in these meetings. In this vein, we are happy to announce that the title of our next Global Health Conference is Universities 2.0: Advancing the Global Health Agenda in the Post-MDG Era. It will take place May 10-12 at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, DC. The website for the conference is www.2014CUGHconference.org.

We really hope that you attend and participate in the conference. We will have a number of exciting new opportunities to engage with each other and with other global health leaders. Already, World Bank President, Jim Kim, former UNAIDS head, Peter Piot, and the Director of the Earth Institute, Jeff Sachs have been confirmed as speakers. It promises to be a fantastic event.

Please share this bulletin and our conference website with your contacts.

Best wishes,

Keith Martin MD
