Fall is here, school has started; this can be a big trigger for CVSers.  I hope that everyone has a good start to school.  CVSA does have some handouts for those that need help with explaining what their child needs at school.  Contact me in the office if you are in need of materials at cvsa@cvsaonline.org


Summer briefing:  
  • The 12th International Adult and Family Conference was held in June
  • Dr. Li announced his retirement at the Conference
  • Ruth Novak retired as program director
  • Debbie Conklyn took over as program director
  • The office moved to Milwaukee
  • The 10th Annual Run for the Bucket was held in Waukesha, WI

CVSA Welcomes New Board Member
Silvia Robey

Silvia joins the board after many years of volunteering at both the Run for The Bucket and the Wisconsin Conferences.  Silvia has had CVS since infancy and wasn't diagnosed until she was in her 40s.  She has been well for the past couple of years and is excited to join the board of directors.  Silvia plans to continue her fundraising efforts and help with the newsletter.
