ECMN Retreat Center
Fairbault, MN
This is a planning day in partnership with ECMN's School for Formation (SFF). It is for everyone involved in faith formation for children, youth and families — from new Sunday School volunteers to parents to longtime faith formation professionals. Join us for time to network and draw out the WHY and the WHAT within your faith community’s offerings with young people. You will have a lot of time to work in small groups with people there to support you as you develop your own plans and practices for bringing life to faith formation in your context in the coming program year.
Last year young people from more than twenty faith communities developed friendships and deepened their faith together through retreats and camps. As we seek to build inclusive and welcoming ministries for everyone in ECMN, we want to make a public covenant together around shared values. Use the button to the left to view this covenant, which began at our monthly youth ministry meetings. We will continue the conversation this fall at ECMN's Annual Convention as we ask each faith community to add their name to this covenant. Your input is greatly appreciated!
2pm-3pm | Friday, September 15
ECMN's Annual Convention
Duluth Entertainment Convention Center
This workshop is for everyone involved in Safe Church training in ECMN. Clergy, lay leaders, and trainers are all encouraged to attend. We will engage FAQs around Safe Church accessibility and implementation. For example, we will discuss how to run and access online trainings.
