Greetings!
As I reflect on the reunion of CYO and Caritas Creek, I recall being a Caritas camper for the first time. I remember the roaring engine of the bus as it climbed the hill, passed the green meadow, and stopped at the entrance to the lodge. There was something exciting about being with teachers and classmates so far from home. I knew I was going to see something new, learn something different, and experience something memorable. I had no idea it would change my life.

If you've kept up with our updates, you know that our programs have just returned to CYO Camp in Occidental after about 3 years. This week is our first program week since our return. We have 105 campers from 3 different schools, and 25 adult chaperons! If you've ever experienced hearing the echo of laughter in the lodge just before mealtime, the quiet melody of song at campfire, or the bitter sweet goodbye on departure day, you're filled with joy, as I am, to know what these 105 kids will experience: the magic of Caritas!
