Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center
Winter 2017
Manager's Notes
Winter 2017
Happy New Year to all!
As most of you know, I have worked at the Tennis and Swim Center as the Business Coordinator for the last 22 years. These past 4 months have brought a new challenge as the Recreation Manager where I am continuing to work diligently on making the Tennis and Swim Center the wonderful facility you all love.
With all the changes, Raine Kishimoto was promoted to Recreation Supervisor, and we converted the room off the lobby to an Aquatics Office. We have a walk-up window for all pool related registrations and/or questions. Terri Secondino, which most of you recognize from the front desk, has taken my Business Coordinator position as a Top Seed Tennis Academy employee. Marvin Martinez continues to head up our maintenance department and does an amazing job. We make a great team and look forward to continuing to make your experience at the Tennis and Swim a great one.
By the time you read this, we will have done our annual maintenance to the pool along with replacing the pool heater which was going on 14 years old. After a termite inspection, it has been determined that the entire facility needs to be tented. The facility will be closed Friday, January 13 and re-open on Tuesday, January 17. We apologize for the inconvenience. Repairs will need to be done following the tenting, but we will close only those certain areas that are being affected. We are aware that this is an inconvenience to everyone, but it has been determined to be necessary at this time.
Please read through the rest of the newsletter as each department will update you with the latest and greatest activities happening at the center. If you need to get in touch with me, I can be reached at (818) 222-2782 ext. 101 or by email at . Also, feel free to stop by the front desk and say "hi".
Take care,
Debbie Gonzales
Recreation Manager

On scheduled Sunday afternoons we'll have challenge matches along with occasional interclubs against other junior programs. Kids can play one match or stay all day for even more practice. We also include T- shirts, awards and participation certificates. For more information, contact Jeff Richards at or go to
