California Spirits Co. Serves as Incubator for Small Distilleries
Whiskey, rum, gin, vodka—a lot of different varieties of booze are born in a nondescript suite in a San Marcos, Calif. business park. The 2,000-square-foot space is also the birthplace of small businesses. The suite is what founder and owner Casey Miles calls a distillery incubator. The California Spirits Company—the official name of the place—offers a licensed production facility for nascent distilling companies to make their product. (San Diego Union Tribune)
Tulsa's First Legal Distillery Since Prohibition to Open This Year
Tulsa’s first legal distillery since Prohibition is planning to open this year. Red Fork Distillery will be distilling vodka, whiskey, gin and moonshine if all goes as planned. (Tulsa World)

S&G Artisan Distillery to Re-Open After 10-Month Hiatus
The owners of S&G Artisan Distillery in Yellow Springs, Ohio suspended operations to deal with personal issues, and the 10-month hiatus “feels like an eternity,” said Kerry Scheuner, who co-owns the distillery with her husband, Hajo Scheuner. (Dayton Daily News)
21 Craft Spirits Producers Confirmed for Michigan Distilled Festival

Alamo Distilling to Host Grand Opening for New Facility

Sandstone Distillery Shares Plans for New Location
After a chance meeting with John Peters of the Craft District, LLC, Sandstone Distillery was offered a proposition it just couldn’t refuse. A premier ten-acre parcel of land bordering Capitol Boulevard was being purchased by this development group who wanted to do something different. (Thurston Talk)
