Youth Dinner Ingredients Needed!
For the past month, the church has been placing orders for a youth group dinner meal fundraiser. We are now ready to make them this Friday at 3pm in the Fireside Room! But first, we need ingredients to be donated. An email was sent out to each parent last week with a sign-up list for the needed ingredients. If you can sign up, it would be truly appreciated! All remaining ingredients will be purchased on Thursday evening.

Vespers and Babysitting Night Weekend
On Friday, July 6, the youth gathered together at the Giang's home in Yucaipa for vespers. In what turned out to be the hottest day of the summer thus far, teens enjoyed the refreshing pool water and a haystack dinner that was capped off with ice cream for dessert. Mr. Tim Giang, a Calimesa member and new teacher at MGA, spoke for worship.
The following night, the youth babysat close to 20 children for their annual babysitting fundraiser. They did a great job connecting with their little buddies, and finished the evening off by watching the Pixar classic Cars together. Great job, youth!

It's Mission Trip Time!
This Sunday, over 30 of us will head out on a mission trip to Los Angeles. Our prayer is that we will have an experience of God's love, grace, and call to serve like never before. We ask for our entire Calimesa family to be praying for us!

There will be a special prayer of dedication for all attending the trip during 2nd service on Sabbath. If you are attending, join us on stage when called!
We will continue our summer series "Jesus' Parables" this weekend during Sabbath School at 9:45am . Sterling Eller and Connor Church did a tremendous job leading our lesson this past Sabbath on "The Unforgiving Servant" from Matthew 18. Jeremy Kim also led a great worship team!
Emily Onofrio, who just completed ninth grade at MGA and recently joined our youth group, will be baptized with her parents in a private ceremony this Friday night. Congrats, Emily!
"The Parable of the Lost Retainer" had a happy ending. Thanks for the memory, Lizzy! You're awesome!
Due to our mission trip next week, there will be no newsletter. You can look for the next one to be sent Wednesday, July 25!
If you know of anybody else who would appreciate this weekly update, please send their email address to Pastor Aren.
