Eligibility:
All contestants must be either (1) a French or American company in the food, beverage, or hospitality industries; or (2) a company that sells a product, service, or technology to or in the food, beverage or hospitality industries.
The products, services or technology must represent French excellence, know-how, or innovation.
The companies must be new to the United States market, and in no event in the United States market for more than three years.
All contestants must submit a five-minute video by April 30, 2018, detailing the reasons it should win.
All contestants must be present for the pitch event on June 30, 2018, if chosen as finalists.
Contest Details:
Videos must include the applicants name, company name, location of headquarters, current revenue, year established in the U.S., number of employees domestically and globally, what the company does, how the company represents French innovation and excellence, and why the company deserves to win.
Contestants must fill out the application attached to this page with a link to upload your video.
Finalists will be notified by June 1st, 2018. All applicants must be available for a Skype interview with one of the Committee Executives between May 1st - June 1st, 2018. Finalists must be present in NYC on June 30th, 2018.

Only one contestant may apply per company. Contest may be cancelled at anytime. By applying to this contest you grant permission to the rights of your image, likeness and sound of your voice as recorded on audio or video tape without payment or any other consideration. Contestants understand that images may be edited, copied, exhibited, published or distributed and contestants waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein the likeness appears. Additionally, contestants waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of submitted images and recordings. Contestants agree that this material may be used in diverse educational settings within an unrestricted geographic area.
Photographic, audio or video recordings may be used for the following purposes:
Marketing, collateral
promotional or educational videos,
online promotion, including, Facebook, Instagram, and other websites.
By agreeing to this release contestants understand this permission signifies that photographic or video recordings may be electronically displayed via the Internet or in the public educational setting.
There is no time limit on the validity of this release nor is there any geographic limitation on where these materials may be distributed.
This release applies to photographic, audio or video recordings collected as part of the activity you signed up and/or participated in. Staff members, executives, and directors of FACC-NY, and the Executives listed above are not eligible to enter this contest. The decisions of the judges are final.
Contestants acknowledge that they have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. All contestants hereby release any and all claims against any person or organization utilizing this material for the purposes listed above.
