Call for Artists
SPECIFICATIONS:

PhotoFest on Paseo is a juried photography exhibition that takes place each September and is open to all types of photography-based artwork, including traditional and digital processes and mixed media work that features photography.

Through this exhibition, the Paseo Arts Association strives to represent and spotlight the depth and diversity of contemporary Oklahoma photography. The exhibit will be featured in the Paseo Art Space during the month of September.

- Open to two and three-dimensional work in photography.   
- Work must be ready to display at time of delivery.
- Two-dimensional work should have D-rings and hanging wire properly installed.  
- Work must be no larger than 30'' in any direction, including frame. Size limitations and hanging restrictions will be strictly enforced. 
- Process and type of photography must be specified when entering - We will provide labels with names of artist and artwork, medium, dimensions and price
- All works must be for sale 
 
DEADLINE:
Friday, August 12 at 9 p.m.

ENTRY FEE: 
$15 for Paseo Arts Association Members
$20 for non-members

JUROR: Ann Sherman 
Ann Sherman's photography reflects a style as unique as she is. She began her career looking through the lens of a television news camera - one of the first women willing to tote a camera into oftentimes dangerous situations - before trading in the movie camera for a 35 mm at the Daytona Beach News Journal newspaper. In 1992, she opened the doors of Ann Sherman Photography, Inc. In the past decade, her images have appeared in dozens of diverse publications. She lives in Oklahoma City and specializes in architectural photography as well as photographing for a number of internationally known sculptors and artists. Her images have been shown at the International Photography Hall of Fame, galleries in several states, and at PhotoSeptembri in San Antonio, Texas.

August 12: Submissions due by 9 p.m.
August 16: Notification of selected works
August 26-27: (12-5 p.m.) Delivery of selected works to the 
Paseo Arts Association

September 2: Opening Reception during the First Friday Walk 6-10 p.m.
October 1: Last day of exhibit. Artists MUST pick up works between 12-5 p.m.
