Meet the Staff

Ever wonder who reads through your submissions and makes the final selections for Kansas City Voices? Now's your chance to find out, and for a little role reversal you can hear what we write.

Join us at The Uptown Arts Bar (3611 Broadway, Kansas City, MO) on Friday night, January 24, 2014 from 7 pm - 9 pm

We'll be featuring poetry and prose by our staff, including: Alan Proctor, Annie Raab, Dane Zeller, Janet Sunderland, Jessica Conoley, Liane Dobbins, Pat Daneman, and Teresa Vratil.

We love meeting other writers and artists in the area, so please brave the cold weather and come say hi.

Our annual writers' contest is a fundraiser that helps keep our entirely volunteer, not-for-profit press operating. For as little as $5 you can enter a piece with a chance to win recognition as well as prize money.
