Seeking Volunteers for New
Champions for Better Health Nominating Committee

We are forming a new committee that will oversee our annual Champions for Better Health nomination process and community celebration. This time-limited committee will meet just three times: once in the fall to launch the nomination process; once in the spring to guide event planning; and again in late May to join in our Champions celebration and public announcement of the honorees.

Volunteer committee members will help to identify and nominate local nonprofit, philanthropic, volunteer and business leaders who have been outstanding in their roles as local champions of health. This is a fun-loving committee and we welcome involvement from individuals of all backgrounds who are passionate about our local communities. Contact Heather Swartz for more information.

Get Healthy in the Outdoors
You Can Make it a Healthy Summer in 2018

Through the generosity of donors in our community, the Summer Youth Scholarship Program has expanded, allowing even more children to enjoy a bright and healthy summer. This year, $38,000 was raised to send 250 children to camp. Youth gained opportunities to learn, grow and explore new challenges that extend beyond the classroom.

We extend our thanks to the many individuals and businesses who made these dreams possible.

Looking ahead to Summer 2018, we welcome your support in improving the health of our community's young people. Please consider making a donation to the 2018 summer camp fund. Checks may be made payable to the Partnership for Better Health: 274 Wilson Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 -- or simply donate online by visiting  our website Thank you!
