CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
The Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST) is currently recruiting new volunteers to participate in its annual
Membership Renewal Drive
.
This important team of volunteers will be contacting 2017 members who have not yet renewed their membership for 2018 to remind them to do so. The time commitment is typically a total of 4 to 5 hours with a flexible call schedule. The CIFST Renewal Drive will take place through the month of February.
No previous experience is required; you are only required to be a 2018 CIFST member in good standing.
This is a great entry-level volunteer opportunity, but it's also suitable for a veteran volunteer who wants to help out on this important initiative. With this experience, there is the potential to join and participate on other CIFST committees. Also, if you are between jobs, you can use this as an excellent opportunity to network!
In previous years, CIFST's Membership Renewal Drive has been extremely successful, generating upwards of 60 per cent of renewals.
