Our Congregational Survey is here. The Hartford Institute for Religion Research, an organization that specializes in parish surveys in a pastoral search has completed Calvary's Congregational Survey. This survey is designed to give everybody an opportunity to share together in assessing who we are and where we see ourselves going. The survey will ask about the church's current ministry and your own involvement, and also seeks your input on pastoral leadership and your vision for the future, so it will be important that all persons (individuals, not just households) contribute their thoughts.
Paper surveys will be available as needed - please check the stage in Hannaford Hall in the coming weeks.
Last Sunday's Profile Gathering was informative as well as entertaining. If you missed it click here to view:

Sunday School and Family News
Sunday School
This past week we talked about Baptism. We remembered that people are baptized into the Church in the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit and that we receive our light on that day.
We look forward to seeing you next Sunday!
**We have rearranged classrooms upstairs to accommodate our very large pre-school and Kindergarten class. That class is now in the room across from the stairwell and the 4th-6th grade class is at the end of the hall.
Thank you families for all your involvement in our programs. Save the dates for our 2017 Family Nights! Details to follow.

"If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday." Isaiah 58:10
Where do you find GOD?
How do you SERVE?
What brings you LIFE?
What do all these questions have in common?
We want
your voice to be heard.
Send a message to our Facebook page about what you would like to see in Calvary's Young Adult Group this fall.

A
lmighty God, whose Son our Savior Jesus Christ is the light of the world: Grant that your people, illumined by your Word and Sacraments, may shine with the radiance of Christ's glory, that he may be known, worshipped, and obeyed to the ends of the earth; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
