Dear Calvary,
On Sunday we remember and celebrate the life and ministry of St. Francis of Assisi. To honor Francis and his commitment to the poor, please bring canned fruits and vegetables for our support of the food pantry at St. Andrew's in Evanston. Please also bring canned cat food for our local animal shelter to honor the special relationship that Francis had with animals.
We will also take time
this Sunday to honor the Reverend John Morrison's 50 years of ordained ministry and service to the Church. Both John and Patsy have been faithful to our parish for so many years and we all owe them an enormous debt of gratitude. Well done good and faithful servants!
Finally, please know that all pets are welcome
this Sunday.....at all three worship services.....they will be welcomed and blessed....and so will we.
Sincerely,
Jason
