Pouring Now at the Pub
Oakily Dokily
This Flanders Red Ale was brewed back in 2014 in collaboration with Yvan de Baets of Belgium's Brasserie De la Senne in Brussels. To create this unique beer we used Pils, Vienna, and Munich malts and barrel fermented with a mélange of microflora. Then a year later, we added 100 pounds of organic Vermont-grown black currants, grown and picked by our pals Lionel and Sabrina at Lanzer's Fruit Farm in Hardwick. The tartness and oak character of the traditionally acidic beer is given additional zing from sourness and tannins in the black currants, as well as added dimension from the intense but balanced fruit flavors. Malty and fruity up front, it finishes with tartness and vinous wine and toasted oak character.
Patio and Construction Update

Now that the last snow has melted, we're looking forward to warmer days ahead. *fingers crossed* We've had just a taste of the Spring weather and are so looking forward to sunny days on the patio in the near future!

If you've stopped by in the past few months you know that One Kendall Square has been under some pretty serious construction. But now the crews are starting to move out and the beautiful new plaza is being revealed. Stop in soon to see what was behind all those fences!
