My wish for “ Peacefulness”

As a camp director, I am blessed with one of the best careers in the world. I have the opportunity to make beautiful, lasting memories for children and adults who come to us from all across the world. I am saddened and concerned for the anxious child who fears so much and feels isolated from the world while at school. Camp offers an oasis for many and my wish for peace extends far beyond my personal abilities. I simply want every camper and staff member to know that Nashoba North is here for you.

I wish everyone a peaceful and joyous holiday season and look forward to 2018 being filled with more fantastic memories. Thank you for being a part of our Nashoba North family.

Jack Coffey, 2017 second session camper, with his new baby brother Oliver. Oliver was born on 11.2.17, weighing in at 7lbs.

Congratulations to Andres Gutierrez Lazo (Caretaker and Weaver, summers 14'-17') and his beautiful bride, Karina Herrera. They exchanged their vows on November 19th in their hometown of Teotitlan Del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico.

A camp scholarship fund has been established in memory of Robert W. Seaward, Co-Founder and Director of Camp Nashoba Day, Inc.

At Nashoba, we strive to directly impact the lives of children and to provide a camp experience where the recipient will enjoy companionship and learn simple as well as complex skills. The gift of camp is the most precious gift anyone could give or receive.

As a former camp scholarship recipient, camp counselor, camp director, teacher, athletic coach and guidance counselor, "Bob" would be thrilled to know that his legacy remains alive and that his dream of establishing a fund to assist children has been realized.

Your contribution will support our scholarship program and all the necessary expenses of teaching, learning and providing memorable experiences at camp. Your gift will make a difference and will provide opportunities for children from various cultural, social, economic, racial and national backgrounds.

Please mail your donation to the Nashoba Office in Littleton made payable to A.C.A. with a note in the memo field stating "In Memory of Robert W. Seaward".
