RP Global Missions Campaign Update What an amazing year! RP Global Missions continues to marvel at the powerful way that God continues to stir the hearts of His people to support the work of Missions. In March of 2011 we were all shocked to witness the great calamity that befell our brothers and sisters in the North of Japan. That great devastation provided another way for God to demonstrate His great power, not only over His Creation, but also over His servants as they rallied to offer aid to those laboring in that region of Christ's Kingdom. In the months following that event, God's people gave more than $200,000 dollars that was administered by the Japan Relief Committee of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Japan.
And while God's people rallied to meet that unexpected need, they have continued to lovingly and faithfully support the work of RP Global Missions, Cush4Christ, and RP Missions. At this time we are beginning our year-end giving season and are now within $50,000 USD from our fundraising goal. As we head into the final weeks of 2011 would you please uphold this campaign and the work of our missionaries?

Developments in Asia
Recently RP Global Missions interviewed a member of the East Asia Commission to get an update on their work and to hear of the plans anticipated in 2012. If you would like to learn more about how Christ is building His church in Asia, I would highly recommend that you listen to this 20 minute interview and please keep these matters in prayer.

Opportunities Abound in 2012!
In the coming weeks you will begin to hear reports from our missionaries in the Republic of South Sudan concerning upcoming projects they are prayerfully considering for 2012. These projects are in addition to the regular facets of their mission and will require much prayer and the help of partners to accomplish. Below you will read a brief description of the various projects and their projected costs.
- Constructing a new training center - As God continues to raise up godly men for ministry and qualified elders and deacons, more space is needed to provide their training. Presently all this training occurs in a building that is shared with the radio station and recording studio and the new building will help us to provide more classrooms, ensure better conditions for the ongoing recording needs of the radio ministry and allow us to add some more recording rooms. This project is estimated to cost about $57,000 in 2012.
- Christian Education - Scott Brinkerhoff, with over 25 years of experience in Christian Education, together with the Cush4Christ mission team, is hoping to begin a pilot Christian School in the Parot community church in April of 2012. The plan is to train 3 Sudanese teachers to mobilize the community and open the school for students in Kindergarten, First and Second grades only. The approach will be 'covenantal' as the teachers will involve the parents in helping them to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. This project is budgeted to cost $2000 to facilitate teacher training workshops, purchase school materials and blackboards, etc.
- Weer Bei FM Operational Costs - Support for the ongoing operational costs of the radio station have not yet been secured. Since the Republic broke away from the North, the region has seen inflation skyrocket (between 2-400%). We have recently been given materials to extend the reach of the transmissions and are now able to reach several new villages and thousands of more people. We are looking for people and churches willing to contribute toward our 2012 budget of operations of $21,000.
- Training Curriculum Development - Presently Cush4Christ has a 2-year curriculum that equips a man to plant a healthy, gospel-centered church. In an effort to provide continuing education for the church planters, the mission is working with former team leader, Pastor Andrew Stringer, to develop the next level of training. See Appendix A for more information.
- Community Health/Dentistry - More on this project will be forthcoming later in 2012.
