Dong-Yun Kwon Shankle is featured bassoon soloist

Dong-Yun Kwon Shankle, adjunct instructor of bassoon, was a featured solosit with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra on Nov. 2, 2013. She performed Carl Von Weber's Andante and Rondo Ungarese.  Shankle received a standing ovation.

Maestro Raffaele Ponti, conductor of the orchestra, said, "She brought out all the charm and elegance in the piece and showed her impeccable technique as well.  I am very proud of her. It was my absolute privilege and honor to make music with her."
