2012 has been a record year in the number of people with a spinal cord injury HeadNorth has helped.
This quarter alone, more than $80,000 in requests for financial assistance has been received for modifying vehicles, repairing vehicles, home and bathroom improvements, purchasing wheelchairs, and attending therapy.
October is a decision making month for HeadNorth's financial assistance program and we are asking for your help in making a grant to someone today!
Below is more information on how your gift of $50, $100, $500, $1,000 or more could change someone's life, giving independence and mobility. HeadNorth can't help everyone, but with your help, we can help many! |

Will help fund one year of accessible public transportation for an individual wanting to attend school and return to work.
|
$1,000 Will help fund a newly injured individual in need of a door ramp, shower chair, or help with a medical co-pay. |
$2,500 Will help fund a wheelchair for an individual with no insurance or limited insurance benefits. The right wheelchair and cushions avoid hospital stays and bed sores. |
