The Club of Jacksons is Cincinnati's first ever crowd sourced production sponsorship opportunity. With your help, we'll raise 1120 Jacksons ($20 bills) between December 2011 and March 2012. If we are successful, we will have raised $22,400 which will become our community funded production sponsorship for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson

"Whether you're hip to history, partial to politics or just a rock and roll fan - all types can find common ground and no shortage of subtext in this 90-minute production. The show integrates local band The Dukes are Dead into a cast featuring actor and associate company member Kellen York in the title role. In the words of Know's director Eric Vosmeier, "The production is an emo-rock musical of the life and rise of Andrew Jackson." - Can you spare a Jackson?, Soapbox Magazine

We are blessed to have a few supporters who believe in Know Theatre enough and have the means to sponsor a production at $20,000. But we also recognize that many individuals such as yourself might not be able to generously sponsor a show on their own, but through the power of many, you can bring this production to life.

Won't you please join the club? We've got some pretty exciting benefits for various giving levels so check them out and join us for a very exciting production!

Thank you in advance for your time and your support. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre soon!

Know Theatre is pleased to announce the Off-Broadway hit musical, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson with music and lyrics written by Michael Friedman, and a book by Alex Timbers as the final show of the 2011-2012 season. Recently closed on Broadway, this rock musical makes its regional premier at the Know Theatre March 31 - May 12, 2012.

An audacious mix of historical fact and invention, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson tells the story of America's controversial seventh president using a raucous blend of outrageous comedy, anarchic theatricality and an infectious rock n' roll soundtrack. Bloody Bloody examines the attraction and terrors or American Populism through the story of the man who invented the Democratic Party, doubled the size of our nation, and signed the Indian Removal Acts that started the Trail of Tears

Cast members include: Kellen York, Torie Wiggins, Drew Bowen, Matt Hill, Chris Wesselman, Kelsey Crismon, Kathryn Boswell, Darius Brown, Luka Carter, Rachel Christianson, Annie Kalahurka, Chance Kilgour, and Datus Puryear. Click here for more information about the cast.

Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson premiered in 2008 in Los Angeles. The show's New York premiere took place in 2009 at The Public Theater in a concert version, followed by a fully-mounted production the following year, before transferring to Broadway. Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson was nominated for two Tony Awards in 2011 for Best Book of a Musical and Best Scenic Design of a Musical.
