I AWOKE this morning, (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!), with a house full of human beings-two of my grandchildren are here from Florida!
Late last night, I had the JOY and PRIVILEGE of leading my granddaughter Caitlin to SALVATION through FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ!!!
PRAISE THE LORD!!

his tactics are tried and well hewn-satan is great at what he does.
OUR Bible instructs and warns us:
1 Peter 5:8-9 (KJV)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
satan uses the SAME tactics-OVER AND OVER-in ALL who believe and follow the Lord Jesus Christ!!!

One would think that IF WE "BE SOBER, BE VIGILANT," WE would rarely fall prey to his "SAME afflictions"-RIGHT!!??
This "SAME afflictions" happened to me just this week!
I listened-partially amused-at the woes of a fellow believer as he recanted an attack of satan in his life and "wisely" recognized satan at work.
I then pointed out where he had failed and then too quickly forgot the lesson learned!!
The very next day satan pulled the "SAME affliction" on ME and I, too, FAILED miserably!!!!

IT'S ME, IT'S ME, IT'S ME O LORD-STANDING IN THE NEED OF PRAYER!"
It was me-aggravated and vexed-blood pressure mounting, fuming, angry and frustrated at a "DEVICE" satan has used against ME for years!!!
I should have RECOGNIZED satan at work as the instrument used by satan he has used against me time after time.
The great news is that I DID recognize satan at work and quickly hit my knees in open rebuke to satan and my flesh.
Or as they preach in Alcoholics Anonymous:

We cannot guarantee to get you to Heaven BUT we can help you to get sober enough to make the wise decision!!!"
Half the battle is recognizing who the enemy is and what "DEVICE" he is using against you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beloved, there are people in YOUR lives and situations in YOUR life that will never change!!!
WE think that other people "will not do to us what they do and have done BECAUSE we would not do that to them!!!"
WRONG!!!!!!
When and if satan discovers a "DEVICE" that thwarts YOU, he will use it-OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN-until WE RECOGNIZE who and what he is using against us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LET ME SAY AND PREACH THAT AGAIN:

One final sports analogy:
In football, if an offense coordinator discovers a certain play is effective against YOUR defense, the WISE coordinator will run that "SAME AFFLICTION" against you UNTIL you figure out a way to stop him!!!

TODAY, recognize the devil and his "DEVICES" he is effectively using against you and STOP him!!!
