Championship Lethargy in House & Senate
The Senate & House convened at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively. Neither chamber met at length today. The mood was lethargic since most under the Gold Dome stayed up into the wee hours watching the UGA championship game.

Appropriations Hearings Next Week
After a respite in recognition of the MLK holiday this Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, joint appropriations hearings on the FY 2019 budget will convene next week. The education budget presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. The full hearing schedule is available

Day on Capitol Hill Registration Now Open
