PAGE Shares 2018 Legislative Priorities with Legislators

Over the last two weeks, members of the PAGE legislative team have met with legislators at the Capitol, sharing PAGE's 2018 Legislative Priorities and learning about legislators' priorities for the 2018 general assembly. PAGE is also sharing results from our fall 2017 legislative survey and inviting policymakers to our 2018 Day on Capitol Hill.

If you haven't already, please make plans to join us on Feb 20 (registration and details below), and please reach out to your House and Senate member to invite him or her and establish a line of positive communication regarding legislative issues impacting Georgia schools. Always remember to use your personal email address and electronic device to contact legislators outside of instructional time. Use your home address to access your House and Senate member's contact info HERE.

PAGE is partnering with the Georgia Association of Colleges of Teacher Education (GACTE) and the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) again in 2018. Our focus this year is Georgia's teacher pipeline, and we'll spend time under the Gold Dome and at our luncheon session discussing the future of the pipeline with state policymakers. We'll also hear from education budget expert Claire Suggs and Georgia's newly hired Chief Turnaround Officer Eric Thomas, Ph.D. Please register now for this FREE event and invite your House and Senate member to lunch on Feb 20.
