Cardinal Carnival Day!
While I am excited for the weekend and the warm weather that's on its way, I am more excited about the Carnival. I hope to see all of you there. Don't forget that we have awesome silent auction items that you can bid on as well as a ton of games and bounce houses for all ages.
Spring Break Reading Challenge: Thank you for continuing to support your child's reading over spring break. Our students will celebrate their hard work on Thursday, April 13th with beach themed activities.
Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. we will be cleaning up the outside of Cardinal by pulling weeds and picking up trash. If you can join us in helping Cardinal look beautiful, we would love to have you.
Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking the second and last part of the ISTEP test from April 17th-May 2nd. Please contact your child's teacher if your child has an appointment scheduled to see if it conflicts with your child's testing time. Additionally, if your child is sick, please keep him/her at home. While we want our students to be in attendance to take the tests, we also want them to do their very best.
Enjoy the great weather this weekend. Try to spend some time playing with your children in the sun!
Kindergarten parents: The Kindergarten graduation celebration will be on Monday, May 15th at 6:30 p.m. in the Delaware Trail Gym. The music teacher and Kindergarten teachers will be working together to put on a show to remember! We're looking for volunteers to help decorate the gym and sell popcorn. If interested, please email the music teacher, Ms. Havala, at ahavala@brownsburg.k12.in.us. In exchange for your time, she will reserve you front row seats at the event.
There will be a change in the front office for the next few weeks. Mrs. Green will be out on leave. We will have a sub for her; however, our office might not run quite the same. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this transition.
Finally, I would like to celebrate our students who have clipped up to Red throughout the week. I am so proud of their amazing behavior choices. This week we celebrate these students:
