TankerTours Sun 10/15 for OHNY

Hello again!

Hope your summer has been grand! I'm so glad that summer weather is lingering...

Would you be willing to help PortSide give tours of the MARY A. WHALEN on Sunday, 10/15, as part of Open House New York (OHNY) weekend?

This is always a great event to do. It that attracts all sorts of people interested in history, architecture, preservation and design.

We'll be open from 12:30 to 6pm. Volunteers should arrive at 11:30am, an hour early, for set-up and planning. Please let me know!

Since June 1, come by ferry to the MARY!

The new NYC Ferry has a stop yards from the MARY! It connects Bay Ridge, the Brooklyn Army Terminal, Red Hook and Brooklyn Bridge Park to Wall Street. You can connect to the Rockaway ferry and get to the beach from here. Hope this means that we'll see more of you with you come to help or enjoy TankerTime yourself!
