 Hello, For thousands of children in Southeastern North Carolina, hunger doesn't take a summer vacation. It is with them every single day of the year. The carefree days of summer quickly turn into hungry days for many of our community's children. But you can make a difference in the lives of these children this summer. For every $1 donated, Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina can distribute up to 7 meals for people hungry in our community.
 You can also make a difference by particpating in Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast North Carolina's second annual Hunger Days. During the entire month of July, we urge each member of our community to take action to end hunger in Southeastern North Carolina. Also this year, we will be celebrating our 30th year of service to our communities as a division of Cumberland Community Action Program, Inc. It could not be a better year to get involved and make a difference in the lives of our neighbors!
