Beyond Service: The Impact of Loss on Our Military Community

Join us for a workshop led by Audri Beugelsdijk, MS, Director of the Survivor Care Team at the Tragedy Assistance Program (TAPS) and Pam Zembiec a Hospice Caring Good Grief Club Facilitator, to explore the nuances of military loss and learn about resources that can help. Pam will also share excerpts from her book about her late husband Major Douglas Zembiec, Selfless Beyond Service: A Story about the Husband, Son and Father Behind the Lion of Fallujah.

Camp Erin is a free, over-night weekend camp for children and teens, ages 6-17, who are grieving the death of someone close to them.  The program combines traditional, fun camp activities with grief education and emotional support. Led by grief professionals and trained volunteers, Camp Erin provides a unique opportunity for youth facing similar life circumstances to increase levels of hope, enhance self-esteem, and learn they are not alone. Support for Grandparents Grieving the Death of a Grandchild

When a child dies in a family, often the grandparents are the "forgotten mourners." Grandparents grief hits many levels. You grieve for your child(ren), your grandchild(ren), and for yourself.  Join us for a free 3-week group for grandparents who are grieving.  Click here for more information.

Support Group - Grieving the Death of a Service Member

Hospice Caring is partnering with the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) to hold a free support  group for all those grieving the loss of a loved one who served in the Armed Forces regardless of circumstance of death or relationship to the deceased. The group meets the fourth Tuesday of every month and participants are asked to bring  a favorite picture or memento to share. Click here to learn more.
