REMINDER: Order deadline is Noon the day before we deliver:
In an effort to achieve a more appropriate work/life balance, We have moved the weekly order deadline to Noon on the day before we deliver the order. With three small children, it's just not fair to my wife that I spent 3 nights per week packing orders until 10-11pm. This small change should allow us to be finished at a reasonable time.  I will make every effort to get order reminders out on Monday morning to account for the shorter ordering window. I hope this isn't too much of an inconvenience, and I appreciate your understanding. 
FarmFan: Get Text Message Reminders and Receive Rewards.
As one of our Farmfans you are able to receive text message reminders, both to place your order and to come pick-up your order. You will also have the ability to check-in when you pick-up. As you accumulate check-ins you will earn rewards such as Grocery Bags, T-shirts, Discounts.

Summer Vegetable Shares are available now.

It's time to sign up for the Summer Vegetable Share. Get a box of fresh, local, organic vegetables each week delivered to the delivery location of your choosing. New for this year, you will now be able to put your share on hold for a couple of weeks if you are on vacation, then receive extra when you are back in town. 
 
On the Farm
Fathers Day:
I hope you all were able to take some time yesterday and reflect on the impact your father, grandfather, or other male figure had in your life.  I know I did.  I have often thought about how blessed I have been to grow up on a farm where I was able to work side-by-side with my dad and grandad for so many years. That experience shaped me in so many ways. I still remember the day my grandad told me he thought I had what it takes to be a farmer. (I was probably 8 or 9 years old.)  We learned a lot about farming, but it didn't end there.  The many life lessons were  learned also. I was able to glean so much from the men in my life because they were present.  Now that is what I am striving to provide for my own children, to be present. The learning opportunities and teachable moments will come around, but we have to be there in order to capitalize on them.  So... thanks dad, and both of my grandads, the greatest present you ever gave me was your presence.
