Middle school students will be involved in a variety of service projects on Friday, December 15.
Denim Jeans
Students are collecting denim jeans in any color and in any condition. We are partnering with the Cotton Incorporated "Blue Jeans Go Green" to collect denim jeans that are then recycled into home insulation that they use in Habitat for Humanity homes.
Please help us with this project by sending in your old, worn, used jeans to the middle school lobby by Thursday, December 14.
Coupons for Soldiers
Students will cut coupons for soldiers to use in their commissaries. Don't worry about the expiration dates because they are allowed to use expired coupons up to 6 months. We need the coupons from the Sunday newspaper. Please bring them to the middle school lobby, as well, and place in the box marked "coupons". The organization that will receive the coupons and deliver them to the commissaries is Troopons.
