New Collector of the Month: Oprah Winfrey

At the top of exciting news....Oprah bought three of my cow paintings
for her Maui Ranch in Hawaii. Wheee!

     Here's the story....

Visiting WInston-Salem for Maya Angelou's birthday, Oprah took a
shopping trip to Reynolda Village and walked into Village Smith
Gallery. Her face lit up when she came eye to eyes with "The
Golden Girls". She then turned the corner and giggled when she saw
"Annabelle" and "Coral Bell".......and well......the cow gals just made
the weight limit to board the jet to Maui. Thank you, Oprah!

New Gallery Representation
The Art Cellar in Banner Elk, NC

It's an honor to be represented by this fine gallery in North Carolina. Seven new bears and cows lumbered up the mountain and are now hanging amid lovely company in The Art Cellar's big beautiful space. On your journey to the mountains this summer, please stop by and introduce yourself. "Finnigan" and friends will greet you!

  • The Fat Cat , Oak Ridge, NC
  • The Little Art Gallery, Raleigh, NC

In case you haven't heard, we moved downtown. Located in the historic area of Winston-Salem, the studio occupies the upstairs above Ollie's Bakery on the corner of 300 South Marshall Street and Brookstown Avenue.

The studio is humming with five artists working in various medium. Come sit in a comfy chair, sip a cup of coffee and watch us paint. Call before you come and I'll perk some coffee and fluff the pillows. 336-909-1378.
