Visions Service Adventures Seeks French-Speaking Guides for Guadeloupe
VISIONS seeks passionate, hardworking, community-oriented individuals to
lead its service learning programs in Alaska, British Virgin Islands,
Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guadeloupe, Montana reservations,
Nicaragua, & Peru.
In particular, they are recruiting individuals with fluency in French for their
Guadeloupe program. Those with experience in carpentry or photography,
and/or advanced medical training (WFR, EMT) are also strongly encouraged to
apply.
Mizna Arab Film Festival 2018 Tour: Saint Paul Edition
Anti-Muslim, anti-Arab, and anti-immigrant sentiments are nothing new, but at this political and cultural moment, they have reached a dangerous fever pitch. How do we work against this hateful rhetoric? Film has the power to connect people to one another's stories and generate empathy in a powerful way. In the spring of 2018, Mizna will bring independent Arab cinema to six Minnesota college campuses and the neighborhoods they call home.
