The party begins and ends in New Orleans for the 2018 Essence Music Festival. The Essence Music Festival, affectionately known as "the party with a purpose", is an annual music festival aimed primarily towards African American women. It is the largest event celebrating African-American culture and music in the United States. It features artists simultaneously performing on a main stage as well as four standing room only super lounge stages. The Essence Festival will once again unite to bring you an unforgettable celebration of Black excellence in music, film, fashion, activism, television, business and more! - Reservations must be made in the name on the government issued identification you will use to check-in at the hotel.
- All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Travel Insurance is strongly recommended
- Caroll & Company accepts payments by credit card. Check or money order. If paying Final payment by check, it must be received at least 10 days prior to final payment due date.
- Refunds will not be given due to roommate abandonment. Please ensure your roommate has made his/her reservations and are making timely payments as required.
- Name changes are available on your reservations until February 10. 2018.
- No payments will be accepted after April 30, 2018.

- You should only buy concert tickets and party passes from reliable ticket sources such as TicketMaster or Essence Fest and/or its distributors.
- Hotel Industry standards may require a credit card charge upon checking into your room for incidentals. You and your roommates should discuss this before checking in.
- We can offer assistance with finding a roommate. However, we cannot be held responsible for the non-compatibility of said roommate.
- Most of the hotel rooms are reserved with 2 beds (Full or Queen). The property has the discretion to accommodate their guests in rooms of their choosing at check-in.

- Tickets for the 2018 Festival will go on sale beginning August 10th at 10:00 AM ET.
